DO NOT gift your friends a ship and think they can gift it back to you. They cannot.
Gifting on the RSI website is for ONE TIME ONLY per item. Meaning it cannot be gifted again from the person who received it. You get a gift and it is LOCKED to your account for life. You can Melt/Reclaim the gift for in store credit and buy other ships.
Anything bought with in store credit will also be locked to your account.
If you buy a ship on the GREY Market, it is Gifted to you and so LOCKED to your account. You can reclaim/melt it for in store credit and buy other ships/packages.
